I purchased this for my husband to use while doing yoga. We have two yoga mats already, and he slips and slides on them a lot, which is frustrating. Unfortunately, this mat isn't any better and I wish I could return it.

My boyfriend is really tall, and our yoga teacher would always make a note that he needed a longer mat, so picked one up. The item is pretty straight forward: it is very long and on the thicker side, which is nice when kneeling or laying flat on one's back. One thing I noticed is that with this new mat, my boyfriend would start sliding when he otherwise wouldn't have on the regular sticky mat.
I am not sure whether the sliding is caused by the fact that the material is not sticky enough, or it is a natural result of having a thicker mat, but that is why I am giving this item a 4, rather than a 5.
