 It cleans the floors well and I can do my whole house with only one tank of water, Mar 14, 2010
It cleans my floors ok I was a little dissapointed that it didn't give off enough steam. My floors were left to wet and took to long to dry.

I purchased the Enviro Steamer on a recommendation from my son and daughter-in-law. I have laminate floors and was reluctant to use a steamer for fear of excess water being released on the floor. Much to my relief, this little steamer put out just the right amount of moisture and cleaned the surface extremely well and with very little effort on my part. The Enviro does a super job. Only negative is that it left a few streaks here and there but those were easily wiped away. I think if I used distilled water, that would take care of the streaking problem.
The Only Way to Mop Mar 14, 2010
I was looking for an easier way to mop my huge porcelin kitchen floor and looked at all the steamers out there. This one was a great deal and is so easy to use. Someone wrote that you could use microfiber cloths and I haven't tried but I bet would work great. No, it will not clean the grout but with three boys it keeps my floor clean and in as little as 10 minutes. Mopping the kitchen is now not my most hated chore in my house.

I find myself always reading reviews, but for the first time on any product/site, I'm reviewing this product. First, thank you for all the reviews that people had written. You really helped me make an informed decision when I chose the Eureka product over the Shark. I love this steam mop! Having 5 children (3 of which are triplet 2yr. old boys), my floor takes a beating on a regular basis. I have pergo flooring which is great, but the using different products on is hard because most often a film is left behind. Since getting the floor steamer, my chore of mopping is SO much easier. It's quick and I don't have any switches or anything to get the steam out. My only "con" on this product is that the cord is indeed too short. That had been mentioned in several other reviews and it's true. Other than that, this is a fabulous product. Lightweight, simple and gets the job done. Simply a work horse. I highly recommend it and am incredibly satisfied with the steam mop. Amazon made it snap to order from as well. The box arrived from Amazon on a weekend and was in great shape.
I have not experienced any leakage or water all over the floor at all.

Researched forever and decided on this one due to overwhelming positive reviews. Was somewhat disappointed after the first use due to excess water on floor...it was a mess. Fortunately I had read other reviews of this mop doing the same thing and needing a one or two use break in period. I saved the box to return to Amazon just in case. Needless to say we've used the mop 10-20 times since and it has been excellent! It really takes the work out of mopping and the steam does all the work for you. I would recommend it and would definetly buy again!
