Sturdy Jan 04, 2011
By Mark Hurlburt I was looking for a recumbent bike to hold my weight. most bikes can only handle 250-300 pounds. I weigh more.. The bike is very big and sturdy. It could hold someone that is 400 pounds. It has everything you could want,as good as a pro bike. Very nice bike and reasonable price as well.

Broken ! Again! Nov 15, 2011
By sharon taylor Had to get first bike replaced because the main piece was cracked.. this meant I had to make a few phone calls to get it resolved in terms of getting broken one picked up, new one dropped off. Mix up the day they dropped off second one because they refused to take broken one. Amazon shipping was SUPPOSED to have this planned.. After all that I get second bike and its BROKEN(SAME PLACE, SAME PIECE) too. Now I had to again waste my time this week because AMAZON said they would arrange for shippers to pick this one up but I have YET to hear from shipping guys so I will have to call to see if they have put in notice to pick this sencond one up so I can get full refund. I basically paid for huge hassle! No thanks. I have no idea about bike's quality but would say if they can't package a bike correctly, then then they really have no regard for their product. Do not buy from endurance, no return phone calls and no one ever answers phone. Amazon is great but not for large items..

Great bike. Purchased this as part of a basement home-gym makeover a little over a year ago. Now that my basement is finally finished, this bike is being used on an almost daily basis... I must say I'm very happy with my purchase. It's very sturdy, which at 260 lbs, I needed. The bike is also very stable with minimal sway during exercise. It's easy to use and has key info displayed: speed, distance, rpms, calories burned, elapsed time, and your heart rate is tracked through the hand stays on either side of the seat. I've found the HRM to be somewhat fussy and inconsistent... when you take one of your hands off the stays, it will stop functioning and reset, then taking additional time to reacquire your HR once both hands are back on. To me this is no big deal, because I'm going for time and calories burned, not HR. I also have a separate HR monitor I can wear if this were important. Re exercise itself, the bike is stable, pedals smoothly, and it's extremely quiet... I can have the TV on with normal volume and I have no problem whatsoever. Also, it is self powered via the magnetic wheel, so no wires or plugs. It turns itself off after use, and it powers up as soon as you move a pedal... simply press reset and all display settings go back to zero for a new workout.
Cons - the seat could be a little bigger and better padded, but still, it works and it's more comfortable than a regular bike seat by a long shot. Also, my bike arrived in good shape, with all the pieces and no dings or broken parts. That said, the instructions aren't the best, so take your time, lay out all the parts, and think about what you're doing before you start throwing this thing together.
In sum, great bike, very stable, does exactly what I got it to do. For the price and the warranty, I don't think you can beat this bike. I understand at least one other reviewer had shipping problems, but I experienced no such issues. Excellent bike, very cost effective, well-built and simple, so there's not a lot that can go wrong with it. If I have any negative experiences with this bike, I'll post immediately. For now - five stars and happy!
