The manufacturer should take a hint from IKEA and provide a screwdriver Dec 21, 2011

The bulb in this lamp comes with styrofoam packed around it to protect it in shipping. It must be removed before using the lamp or the hot bulb will melt it and/or set it on fire. Unfortunately, since for safety reasons the bulb is behind a wire mesh (to prevent the bulb from burning people or, as mentioned, starting fires), the only way to get to it is to unscrew some tiny Phillips-head screws that hold the front part of the lamp in place. The manufacturer did not provide any tool to accomplish this--which in my opinion should always be included when any assembly or dis-assembly is required to use a product. The only such screwdriver I could find among my husband's tools only managed to loosen one screw before its handle broke--because the screws are in so tight. Maybe a handyperson with an electric screwdriver with a tiny Phillips-head attachment might have been able to get those frustrating screws out, but I'm not that person.
I can't tell you if the lamp itself works well, since I never got to use it. Because of this problem, it was worthless to me, and I returned it to Amazon.
