Great Product Aug 08, 2008
By Julie Peterson
"Iconoclast"
For so long I had to beg for people to lend me a hand or an elbow. Most of the time there was nobody around to help me, so I am thrilled now that I can treat the trigger points on any part of my body without any help from someone else. If you have chronic pain, this tool can be a lifesaver! I recommend the Trigger Point Therapy Workbook to go with this so you can learn how to effectively treat yourself. I wish you well!

The good and the bad Aug 29, 2008
By jasy The body back buddy is great. 4 stars. You can specifically target the area you want to massage. Short of having a massage by another person, this is a reliable product.
1 star for the Da Vinci tool. The ads say it has a hundred uses, they should have printed them all. I could only think of about three. But with its limitation, it does relieve some stress when put on the occiput.

Pure relief! Feb 05, 2011
By Shadowblade I debated between the Body Back Buddy and the Theracane. I had tested out the Theracane while in massage therapy school. I decided to go with what looked like a more robust tool with greater options. Boy, was I pleased! I started working on the left side of my back and shoulder area as they felt insanely tense. After a couple days of use, my right side was so neglected that it felt tight, while my left side was much more relaxed with greatly decreased pain.
I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought this with the Davinci Tool, which made for a great deal. My only regret with that is I wish I bought the hard tool instead of the soft. Other than that, it does work and eases my muscle tension in places that are typically difficult to massage yourself well.

Two great tools Aug 26, 2010
By Michael I use the DaVinci Tool when my rhomboids flare up. I place it up under my shoulder blade and it stretches the muscles giving me relief. The Body Back Buddy is my swiss army knife for trigger points. Normally, I can get my pain level to reduce by 2-3 on the 1-10 scale with 10 minutes using either tool.
