Not as good as a professional microderm treatment Oct 11, 2009
By B. Lucas I am still trying to figure this thing out. It comes with 4 packets of crystals, but the machine seems to drain right through it pretty quickly. It is enough to cover your whole face, but much seems wasted and goes right back into the machine and ends up in a larger container. I need to find a way to pry that larger container open and get the unused crystals out. It hurts when you do it, even on a lower setting. My face turned pretty red. It does exfoliate, but I think there are other products out there that are just as good and much cheaper. Like the Neutrogena At Home system. That one doesn't have the vacuum, but I honestly don't feel like you need the suction to get the exfoliation. It exfoliates. That is what it does. Do not expect anything else.

By Laura Bought it as a xmas pressy for myself xmas 2009. It is wonderful as a home machine. LOVE it! Cost is about $10 a use. I am meticulous and keep all my things very clean and never reuse materials. People complain about the use "waste" of crystals and want to find a way to reuse them at the $10 a use cost vs $150 salon cost I am happy to use a new cartridge every time rather than risk a staff infection. I always clean my machine so I have never experienced any clogging with the machine like I have read that others have had. I use the machine on high but always start on the lowest setting and work my way up.
