delivered to your door, at about half the price Aug 17, 2009
By L once put together, this set will meet most peoples needs for working out a few times a week, it is not Olympic, and i wouldn't add more than 50lbs to the bench(max 150) but i have been looking for almost a year for a good weight set, searched craigslist and walmart, and never saw much of a better deal than this(on craigslist you can find sets for 75-150$, but you must deal w strangers, no delivery and no guarantee) competitor has been around for ages, and if well cared for, it will last just as long any other set under 300$ i had it put together in less than 2 hours, and the delivery person brought it into my backyard where i had a place to set it up, couldn't have been a better transaction., update, had this for about a week, still satisfied, but, this may be true with all weight sets, its a good idea to tighten all screws every month or so, .

Solid Workout Bench Jul 11, 2011
By Morrell Deedes I. Who do you think should buy this weight bench?
If you are someone in need of a heavy-duty workout bench who is already accustomed to strength training and lift at least 50 pounds regularly, I would recommend that you consider this particular bench. On the other hand, if you are someone who is new to strength training, there are more affordable options. I started out with the much cheaper but reliable Cap Barbell Fitness FID Bench and never had any problems with it in the year and a half that I used it.
II. Why would I want to buy this particular weight bench?
This bench is highly durable. Its weight capacities are as follows: 250 pounds for the user, 200 pounds on the uprights, and 100 pounds on the leg developer. The 2'5" backrest of the seat adjusts to 4 different inclines, allowing the user to vary his or her exercises. The backrest and seat pad connect tightly together for a total length of 3'5" and are both well-cushioned, so the bench is comfortable to recline on. The bench comes with a bar, (2) spring clips, and weights: (2) 25 pound plates, (2) 15 pound plates, and (2) 10 pound plates. The guide for building the bench is also easy to follow. A plus is that this workout bench has more aesthetic appeal, in my opinion, than the standard black or gray weight bench.
III. Anything else I should know?
The shipping and handling on this bench was a little over $100.00, so you should probably think of the inclusion of the weight set as "your money's worth" than a great bargain. You may also want to buy additional weights for the bar if, like me, you prefer to increase the weight by 5 or 10 pound increments. Those two issues aside, this weight bench has proven to be a worthwhile investment. I am sure it will continue to hold up well in the future.

Review of equipment Sep 04, 2010
By S Overall pretty good. They could have made the poles higher so the bar isn't so close to your face. Other than that, I think it's decent if you want to find an alternative to lifting weights at the gym.

Nice product for the price Aug 11, 2011
By Brandon Johnson I've had mine for about 2 years and it's held up nicely. Minor complaints: the leg developer wobbles from left to right and the weight bar that comes with the set seems really short - would prefer to get my hands farther apart. But the bench itself is decent quality - very stable and adjustable.
too small May 21, 2012
By lbadio In their description of the product they should have displayed the lengths of the poles. They are way too short and narrow. For the price i didn't expect it to be so disappointing. I can do flat bench and decline without any problems but when trying to do incline it is very difficult to raise the weight because the bar in so close to my face. I'm pretty strong benching 265, but on this bench doing incline i can barley get 100lbs off the bar, due to the closeness. The bench assembles really easy. Simple understandable instructions. Wouldn't recommend buying if your tall with long arms.
