This is the only thing that my picky 11-year old son will eat for breakfast now, and quite often for lunch. Someone called him "chubby" one day, which he's not, but in his pre-teen mentality he was refusing to eat breakfast or lunch for a while. Clif bars were a nice compromise. I feel better giving him these than some empty carb-laden garbage like toaster strudel or waffles, so I really can't complain, and I'm thrilled that he eats something vaguely healthy. They're easy to eat on the bus, or if he gets up early with a cup of 1% milk. I toss one in his lunchbox with a piece of fruit and a drink on days he doesn't like the hot lunch. I'm happy he's eating something decent, he's happy he's got something that he likes, so it's a win-win.

JUST 3 WORDS: NOM, NOM NOM!
The only problem with these is that I can't stop eating them. I went through 2 boxes of 12 (24 total) in 4 days.

Was skeptical at first about ordering the Cliff Bars online, but they arrived perfectly sound and will be doing it more for such a great price.

These are my favorite bars. Chocolate Chip is my #1 favorite flavor of clif bars. These particular bars which I ordered were marked Sept.2011 and they arrived at my house Feb.2012. That's 5 months past the date! I didn't notice until I bit into one and it was sure not fresh! Amazon told me to throw them away and order another one. I'm not sure if I will again though, since there is a chance I will get another super old batch. Yuk!

In my opinion, the Chocolate Chip Clif Bar is the gold standard for a breakfast/snack bar. They are better tasting than pretty much any other competing product, and I really like the blend of nutrients too - much better balance of protein vs. fiber (in normal, not-ridiculous proportions) than a hi-fiber bar or terrible-tasting hi-protein bar.
