Never gave me a smiley face, even though I was ovulating! Jul 03, 2010
By R. Thomas This is the second Clearblue easy ovulation digital kit I've been trying and I will NEVER buy another one again. I wasted about $66 on these two boxes (7 strips) and what a waste of my money! I thought since these are digital, they would be easy to read and highly accurate, oh boy was I wrong!. The first time I tried it I thought maybe it was a bad batch because I never got a smiley face and I was parallel testing with CVS brand and Answer (both detected my surge and I was also being monitored because I was on Clomid). So I decided to give it a second chance. Again this cycle I have been testing with Answer, the CVS brand and clearblue easy. AGAIN both Answer and CVS brand detected my surge on day 14, but NOT CLEARBLUE EASY!!. It can't be my urine because I used the same urine for all three tests. So my conclusion is clearblue is not accurate. Personally I really like the CVS brand and it is much cheaper. I am also planning to try some of the online brands that are much cheaper than the store brands. My advice is to skip the digital and go with the strips and they are easy to read (in my opinion). If you are not sure if the test line is dark enough, most likely it is not a surge because a surge is obvious and you will know when you see it. Good Luck to all the ladies out there trying to conceive and I hope this helps!

Digital is the way to go! Jan 09, 2007

I have used all of the brands of OPK's and this one is without a doubt, the BEST! The other sticks are so hard to read, you are left wondering, "yes, the line is darker?". When you have an LH surge you get a happy face, and all is good!!

Clearblue Easy-Digital Ovulation Test, 7 Test - Review Mar 21, 2008
By C. M. VERGEL-BALDWIN

Easy to use and read, no more guessing! It is a pretty wasteful product though since you cannot reuse the test reader. I think it should be able to be reused so that customers have to only buy more test strips.

Not 99% accurate for me. Jan 28, 2008
By Elizabeth I did research and thought this was the test for us. I followed directions to the letter. (Testing within 10 minutes each day, etc.) Did not understand why it never said I was ovulating. I also had the good old fashioned back up calendar counting method, so we still "practiced" :) based on the calendar but I just knew I wouldn't get pregnant since this never gave me a positive result. Imagine my surprise when my period was late so I took a pregnancy test just to end the stress of waiting- much to our surprise I was pregnant!!!! Further research all recommend testing twice a day so ovulation is not missed which must have been what happened. I am thrilled to be writing this 11 weeks pregnant but am rating this low because it never mentioned the possibility of testing twice a day.

Love these tests.... Feb 29, 2008
By Bradeys Mommy I love the Clearblue digital ovulation kits!! I had been TTC for 18 months, after 18 cycles I was looking for something new. I have Poly-Cystic Ovaries so I new that these may not work as PCOSer's have issues with false negatives and vice-versa. I was so excited to use these, the cycle I tried them they worked wonderful although I went through 12 of them due to late ovulation on cycle day 18 got my "smiley face" or my "positive" I had my temp dip on cycle day 19 and then my temp spike on cycle day 20...Whooo-hooo, I got my BIG FAT POSITIVE HPT at 9DPO!!! LOVE THESE TEST, hate reading lines so these tests work great for me!!
