Best Sanitizer & Cleanser We've Ever Used. PERIOD. Jun 07, 2009
By I Buy Stuff
"I Buy Stuff"
Our family has used all types of hand sanitizers and cleansers all with ingredients ranging from triclosan to alcohol. Previous products dried out our skin to the point of itching and sometimes bleeding and the strong alcohol scent gets old quickly. Our daughter has an autoimmune disease and blood disorder (severe aplastic anemia) that requires she be as near to germ free as possible at all times. Cleanwell products were developed by a husband and wife team who's son also has an autoimmune disease. Check out their website http://www.cleanwelltoday.com/ for a complete bio and list of products. We have only tried the Spearmint/Lime scent and although we love the scent which is much more spearmint than lime, others do not like the fragrance. It reminds me of mint toothpaste which I don't mind and there are other scents to choose from - it just smells natural and fresh, not chemical-like. This product kills more types of germs than any other sanitizer and cleanser out there. It's more expensive for a reason, but peace of mind to us is priceless. We keep the larger bottle in our cars and the smaller ones in our purse, backpack, etc. We also use the foaming cleanser in the kitchen and bathrooms - particularly handy after handling raw meats and eggs as it kills e-coli and salmonella and a little bit of product goes a long way. Buy it, try it, you won't regret it.

Pleasantly surprised, Spearmint Lime scent grew on me! Aug 03, 2009
By W D & E's Mom I purchased a Spearmint Lime Clean Well hand sanitizer at my local Bath and Body Works recently in an attempt to go green.
After smelling the other scents available, and honestly not finding any of them to immediately grab my attention, I settled for the Spearmint Lime.
I've had the product for about 6 weeks now and it has grown on me. I'm starting to truly like the scent! It's quite pleasant and refreshing, plus your hands feel soft after use. The scent does linger for quite some time so if you're sensitive to smells, this probably isn't for you. It is, however, much better than the alcohol scent of most other hand sanitizers.
Being alcohol free, I also feel very comfortable using it on my 20 month old daughter while we're out and about.
I love that it's a spray instead of a blob of watery gel - so much easier to apply (especially to my daughter's hands!).
The spray bottle is a great size, fits into my purse, diaper pod, or even a pocket if necessary. Too bad it doesn't have a neat attachment to hook on to strollers like Purell has.
Bottom line: It's great, but honestly the scents available just aren't very pleasing! The combinations of scents are weird. I recommend finding them in a store near you so you can smell them first. I'm curious if I would find the other scents growing on me as this one has. It's still not a favorite, but it's alright.

A new generation of hand sanitizers Oct 09, 2008
By Emily W There is simply nothing on the market that I know of that can compete with this hand sanitizer. It is 100% natural, environmentally conscious and best of all, alcohol free. It will not dry your hands like other hand sanitizers, and has a great scent.

Way Better than Wet Ones! NO GERMS! Aug 23, 2008
By Vanessa I should've owned stock in Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes because I used to use them so often on my kids. This is a lot more expensive, but it's well worth it. It has a citrus smell which my kids love. It fits great in my kid's lunchbox. He just sprays 2 times in his hands before lunch time and germs are gone! It's 100% green, 100% safe for kids, 100% natural, and alcohol free. I also have the pack of 10 wipes. You can purchase those at Whole Foods. Great product with no chemicals. Easy enough for toddlers and preschoolers to use.

Safer and Wonderful Dec 13, 2009

I initally found this product in Target, and my Target no longer carries them. With a new baby I use this constantly. I keep one in my car, one in my purse and one everywhere else! I put it on her, and do not have to worry about toxic chemicals!
