Functional!! Jan 19, 2006

I bought this one for my mother... It's still a bit tall (even after adjusting to the shortest setting). not recommended for 'shorter' people.
try it at a local store before buying..

Very nice! Oct 18, 2011
By Syd My parents came to visit me in New Orleans a week before my dad had knee surgery. My mother mentioned he was limping a lot & I asked him about a cane, but he pulled the macho-guy card & said he didn't need one. For the price, I thought this might be a nice back up, so I bought it, figuring that since my dad is an avid gun collector the "pistol grip handle" might be a good selling feature for him and that the foldable feature might be good for my mother or I to be able to put it in a purse for "just in case." I am SO grateful I bought this! My dad loved it, it was very convenient and attractive, and VERY well used. He brought it back home with him & I'm told he uses it regularly (and hides it in a pocket of his cargo shorts or in my mom's purse when he's not using it)
For reference: My dad is 6'2, he used it on the second-to-longest setting.
well worth the price May 05, 2012

I had knee surgery and want something compact and light but to hold me up. I'm no lightweight (230 lbs.) but this did the job. Great product for the price.
Folding cane Apr 10, 2012
By D. R. Portch I bought this cane to travel with. Folding canes are very useful for travel and the Carex appears to be a superior version of folding canes. Would be better if it came with a wrist strap.
FOLDING CANE Mar 22, 2012
By Joe Desiderio Carex Folding Adjustable Handle Cane with Walnut Pistol HandleI originally bought this cane from my local Rite Aid store for $33.00 plus tax. When I got home I went on Amazon and found it for half of what I paid. I ordered it and even with the shipping costs it was still way cheaper. Plus, it only took two days to get it. Thanks guys, you are the best. As for the cane, it is exactly what I wanted. It folds up nicely, holds my weight and is comfortable to use. The only thing I wish it had is a wrist strap but I'll work on that myself.
