Great buy if you have cold feet! Oct 19, 2007
By Queen of Beading
"Siobhan"
I've had the original Bed Buddy roll for about 10+ years and I used it whenever my feet were cold (which is often). Recently, I misplaced this old faithful, so I was looking to get another one. The roll was really nice for when you're laying down, but a little awkward if your sitting, and a lot awkward when you're standing. I was thrilled to find that the company had pity on those of us with eternally cold feet (the kind of cold that keeps you feeling cold all over), and that these booties were available. Well, I've tried them, and they are awesome. I can sit at my desk and have them on. The packs are removable, so if you want to take these to work and use them, you can, and no one will have to know that they're for. Don't expect to walk with them on when the packs are inside, because you simply won't be able to. So, if you need to get up and dash, just keep that in mind. Take the packs out, and they are like bedroom booties. The booties are washable (without the packs), which is another plus. If you're into aroma, these booties have that too. I felt a little bit like a pumpkin pie, but the herbs are pleasant enough. I highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from cold feet, but if you have some kind of medical condition that's causing trouble with your feet, please check with your doctor first.

WAY too big Oct 08, 2008
By Brandi Gooch

These booties say one size fits all on the package. Well, they might fit Andre the Giant, but on me they were way too big. (I have size eight feet.) If you have big feet and really, really thick ankles these might fit. Other wise skip these and look at other products that are smaller, offer different sizes based on your shoe size, or have elastic or soemthing to keep them on. These things are just too darn big!

Good, but not great Apr 27, 2008
By Cristie I like to have something to warm my feet up when I go to bed, and these do the trick if I heat them for the maximum period of time before putting them on. They really are incredibly loose, though (I have size 7 1/2 feet), and if you move around at all in bed they fall off. They also have a tendency to sag away from your foot if you're not positioned right. So, they DO work, and I use them, but I probably wouldn't buy them again. I would buy my classic Bed Buddy hot/cold pack again, however.

Love These Warming Slippers! Feb 27, 2007
By Janet Boyer

I live in the North East, so winters can get quite chilly! For the last few months, my hands and feet have gotten *ice cold* indoors--even if the room temperature was quite warm. My husband would warm up a large homemade aromatherapy product intended for the neck and I would use that to warm my hands. It was awkward because it didn't fully surround my hands.
Well, I was THRILLED to receive the Bed Buddy Warming Mittens with Aromatherapy for Christmas from my dear hubby! They worked so well, that I ended up buying the Bed Buddy Warming Slippers a few weeks later!
There are two fabric pouches that you remove from a pocket on the underside of the slippers. After microwaving both for about a minute or so, you just re-insert the warm pouches and ouila! Warm feet at last!
The product information says that the aromatherapy ingredients that are within the warming pouches are eucalyptus, clove and cinnamon. To me, it smells more like a lemony cinnamon scent.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled with my Bed Buddy Warming Slippers (which are a nice navy blue color)! I bought a pair of down-filled slippers before Christmas (for $35!) to keep my feet warm and they don't keep my feet HALF as warm as the Bed Buddy Slippers!
Please note: you canNOT walk around with these slippers! The aromatherapy packs are bulky and you'd break your neck trying to walk with them (yeah, I tried *chuckle*). However, they're GREAT for when you're lounging in the recliner or for when you're going to bed.
Because the pouches are bulky, they probably won't touch the soles of your feet (where you need the warming affect) if you're just sitting...unless, of course, your feet are flat on the floor. So keep that in mind when considering purchasing these slippers.

Only heat the bottoms Jan 08, 2011
By Julie Schmidt I always use my regular bed buddy for my aches and pains. Probably am on number 3 by now because I use them so often. I thought these booties would be perfect for my cold feet. NO !! I did not understand that the heat packs were separate and only slid into the outside bottom. The rest of my foot was out of luck. Silly me, I thought you put the entire footie in the microwave so the whole foot would be warm. There is no way to walk in them either so they are not that great after all. They also need a lace or something to tie around the ankle to keep them on. I was sooooooo very, very anxious for these to come and now I am sooooooo disappointed. And why does everything today have to be 'scented'??
