Great for sinus, tension and migraine headaches Dec 16, 2008

I have used this product for my sinus, tension and migraine headaches for more than a year, and it's my go-to product, in combination with painkillers.
I have only used it hot, and it heats up quickly in the microwave (45 seconds) and remains hot for 15-30 minutes. The heat is a "moist" heat, which is helpful during sinus headaches. I appreciate the size and shape, as it's easy to use on my forehead, cheeks/nose (for sinus problems) or the back of my neck. (The instructions say to not use it over the eyes when hot, though sometimes I do this when the pack has cooled off a little.)
Another commenter mentioned an offputting smell. I haven't noticed anything like that, even with my sensitivity to smells during a migraine attack.
To me, the only improvement I would suggest is a nicer fabric as the cover--fleece seems like it would be a comfortable choice. I would also suggest a discounted 2-pack, so that I could leave one in the freezer.

This sinus pack is nice and soft and feels great with either hot or cold temperatures. It feels a lot better than those gel packs, it molds to your face.

My family is a huge fan of this Carex buddy.....Has some one in our house to feel even a little of a headache or sinus pressure or want to just relax we depend on this little amazing buddy....In short we are hooked to this product and can't get enough.....(Just make sure you do not overheat in microwave or the inside contents tend to burn out....Goodluck

The Bed Buddy products are GREAT! I keep them in the freezer for cold packs. Wonderful for sinus headaches or my hubby's migraines. They stay cold a long, long time and they are nice and soft so they conform to your face (or your ankle, or wherever you need them) I have several different styles.
