This a proffessional grade ice pack. It stays cold for well over 30 minutes and refreezes rapidly. Excellent product

Having been an athlete through high school, college and graduate school, I sustained several injuries that continue to make me pay later in life. After several reconstructive surgeries, I have found that proper use of ice packs can be just as beneficial as most pain killers prescribed by physicians, in addition to reducing swelling and numbing the surface area. Over the years I have used the old traditional ice bags, made my own with ice cubes and plastic bags, and even used bags of frozen peas.
The most effective ice pack by far has been this Colpac. It is long enough to wrap around an ankle or neck and can be secured either by putting it inside a pillow case and tying it into a knot or by wrapping an elastic bandage around it. This ice pack freezes quickly if you lay it out flat--rather than fold it over--and it stays cold for 30-45 minutes, plenty of time for one good application. If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, buy two.

Have had two spinal surgeries and this product was so helpful after each surgery. Its fit was perfect and attended to the areas generally not covered by other regular cold packs. Great design - especially for the neck and shoulders. So glad we found this. After you are done using it, just put it back in the freezer and it is ready to go when you need it next.
