mom of adhd child Feb 11, 2008
By ugly bug My son is 7 years old and weighs about 38 pounds. I have tried many alternative vitamin and herbal products for him while trying to keep him off prescription drugs for his adhd. He couldn't control his impulses in school. Constantly talking, making noises, always out of his seat, not listening to teacher and refusing to complete his work. He couldn't concentrate and was prone to temper tantrums.
I've had him on bright spark and focus for a couple weeks now and his teacher can't believe the change in him. He does his work, stays in his seat and doesn't make noises all day. He is bringing home greens now ( good behavior reports ) where before it was reds every day!! I would recommend trying these products together but the bright spark by itself did a make a difference. Good Luck!!

wonderful product Nov 16, 2007
By coralie We have been using Bright Spark and Focus Formula together, for my 9 year-old nephew who had been diagnosed with ADHD and displayed impulsive outbursts of anger and trouble at school. He has been using these two products for about 5 weeks now and we have seen a marked improvement in his behavior. He seems to be much more able to handle situations that previously would have escalated into destructive behavior and defiant attitudes toward authority. Just prior to starting him on the Bright Spark and Focus Formula, he had been taken off an ADHD medicine because of a reaction to it, which was not doing anything to control his behavior anyway. I would recommend trying this combination, especially if you are having doubts about the safety and efficacy of your current ADHD meds.

Helpful in conjunction with other remedies May 21, 2010

We have been using Bright Spark for three weeks now, and I have seen some substantial improvement in my daughter's behavior.
I don't think that this remedy used alone is a panacea, however. The improvement that we have witnessed has been in conjunction with other adjustments we have made and other nutritional therapies.
We are also treating our daughter for sensory integration disorder (which is truly helpful). Also helpful is fish oil. I am also using flax oil, spirulina, etc. for a daily smoothie.
She gets Bright Spark 3x daily, 2 tablets a day. All of this treatment works best if she also avoids sugar and gets a good night's sleep.
I would agree with the post that warns about missing a dose. The one tantrum my daughter has had in the last month coincided with missing a dose of Bright Spark. It was ugly, but not as extreme as previous tantrums had been, so progress even there.

BrightSpark does not work Jul 14, 2010
By NoWayJose Our daughter is unable to sit down without fidgeting and being hyper. We gave BrightSpark a try. The results? No difference whatsoever. A waste of time and money.
