I am pregnant for the first time and decided to look up some stretch mark creams to ensure things stay as normal as possible. I get this cream with a receipts from dbroth.com. Although I should have looked into this prior to purchasing, I looked up the website and this is what they do "manufactures and distributes a variety of audio, photography, home, and office" (same address as on the receipt so no error there). NOW HOW IN THE WORLD DO THEY SELL STRETCH MARK CREAM?????? I must admit I'm concerned and confused...not to mention where the heck this really came from. If anyone has any answers for me, please let me know or I will be returning this SKETCHY purchase.

My reivew of 1 star is only because I'm little hesitant using a cream sold by a manufacturer & distributor of video/audio etc equipment. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE????

I picked Beaute de Maman cream to use during my first pregnancy because it contains ingredients that appear to have some research based evidence for efficacy in preventing striae (stretch marks), based on my PubMed search of the medical literature. I know I am prone to stretch marks, since I got them during my puberty growth spurt. I started using the cream when I started to show. I ultimately gained 40 pounds. Now that I have delivered, I have no new stretch marks. It's anecdotal evidence, but I would definitely use the cream with a second pregnancy, and I will be buying it for friends. I like that the cream absorbs fast and does not have a fragrance.

The Beaute de Maman stretch mark cream is a superb product. It has an almost imperceptible odor and absorbs quickly. My skin is very soft from using the cream and, in fact, I've ordered another tube for the remainder of my pregnancy. I have not developed any additional stretch marks since I began applying this product at about 6 1/2 or 7 months. I wish I would have found this sooner!
