Get this one! Dec 09, 2010
By Stacy in Texas I am a PT and these types of belts with the metal buckle are the only ones worth getting. The others can be dangerous. Just remember when you put it on someone to put the strap through the teeth first, not last. Then you can tighten it up with one hand if you need to. Otherwise you will have to use two hands to do it. And when they get worn they tend to slip. You may want to get a new one.

absolute necessity for transferring a patient May 20, 2011
By T. Robison
"crazy cat lady"
I use this to get my husband transferred from bed to wheelchair and back. It couldn't be done without this. It's the same as his therapists use, very strong, a great product. It got here in record time, I couldn't be more pleased. This is something I couldn't find over the counter. Thanks again!

Much better Nov 23, 2011
By Kevin J. Beard This one is much better than the one that came from a local drug store and cost one third the price. The original one had a plastic buckle that snapped off with only a few uses. I looked on Amazon and found this one with the metal buckle and decided to give it a try. We are completely satisfied with the new one and it is holding up well also. Thanks
gait belt Apr 16, 2012
By grey This was the cheapest gait belt I could find-- I think I paid about $7 including shipping. It's just like the rest of them.
