Have a seat! Oct 10, 2010
By millersingb This seat cane is "just what he doctor ordered" figuratively speaking. I have back problems that cause intermittent sever pain in my legs. It forces me to have to sit for a moment or two before I can walk again. Thanks to the this Seat Cane I am now able to get on with things and when the pain hits, I simply open my seat, sit for a moment then fold it and get on my way. It is very light, adjusted easily to a good sitting height for me, and the handle rests comfortably on my arm when I am walking. The value of this Seat Cane cannot be measured in dollars -- it made me mobile again.

pleased with cane seat Jan 12, 2009
By I. witkowsky I purchased this cane seat for a gentleman with severe stenosis in his back. The intent is for him to use it when walking or when at a museum, etc. I cannot say how well it works because he has not used it yet. However, we are both pleased with the weight (not too heavy) and the seat which is 2 inches wider than most of them (10" instead of 8")as this is a man who weighs about 215 lbs. (maximum weight for the product is 225)The one glitch might be that it is a little sticky to push the seat back up to flat position after sitting on it. Remains to be seen.

Good seat or cain Jan 08, 2012
By W. Tobias This got a lot of attention from my fellow travelers. The individually adjustable legs makes the unit serve well as a sturdy seat or a cain. Even leaving the folded seat as a 3-legged cain worked well. The unit folds to an unobtrusive size for travel overhead racks, etc.

really hard to open and close Jul 13, 2011
By Dan Trachtman Maybe we got a really stiff one, but its a real effort to slide this open or closed. We've tried pulling and pushing by the seat and the legs both. It would be very easy to design these sorts of seat/canes with a button you press to open the whole thing like an automatic umbrella.

FABULOUS Jul 13, 2011
By Kim Schnitzius I've had my can seat since 2009 when I used it for a trip to Europe. I have fibromyalgia and heel spurs; this saved me and allowed me to see the museums of London, Paris, and Barcelona. Closer to home, it's a wonder in the lines at theme parks. I can walk without too much trouble but standing for even a few minutes is agony for me. When I am in a long, slow moving line I pop the seat open and I can sit down easily. When the line moves forward it's easy to grab and go. Every time I use it I get comments about it- it's so useful. It gets uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time, but that's not what I use it for. (Any small stool-like seat would be uncomfortable for long periods of time; it's not a flaw in the cane itself.) All in all, I am grateful that this product exists and if I ever lost it I would replace it instantly.
