months ago i had purchased this product in a store. however,when i recently attempted to purchase an additional item it was no longer available in any store[including medical supply stores]. fortunately,i was able to locate it on amazon and made the purchase. this hearing aid cleaning tool kit is wonderfully versatile,efficient and simple to use on any hearing aid. i have puchased adiitional kits to give to others who have need of such a tool.

This product has four different types of picks that can be used to get at ear wax in small spaces. Not all of the picks would be needed for all hearing aids due to different configurations. This item is very inexpensive, so if you have a hearing aid it would probably be worth getting to see if it would be useful for you.

This item comes with 5 tools. With the several sets of hearing aids I've bought over the years, the tools that come with the aids are better than three of those in the kit. A fourth item, a hook to open the battery door is more difficult to use than my finger nail. The magnet to use for inserting the battery shows promise, but I can't see carrying the kit around just for that.

I bought this for my uncle that recently got hearing aids. From all reports he is really happy with it and finds it very very useful. I think his exact words were, " I don't see why they don't just give you one of these when you get your hearing aids". For cleaning and maintenance of the aids I could find nothing better. It makes it easy to keep everything clean and working well. How else are you going to clean the hearing aid tubes and such? Toothpicks? Wood is just not a safe option as it could break easily.
I gave it 5 stars only because my uncle had nothing bad to say about it at all. Believe me, if I ever get a hearing aid, it will be the first thing I buy.
