I love this handy device. Its small enough to carry everywhere and effective for every type of muscle, broad and small. It has enough weight to provide the pressure needed.

GOOD TOOL, POOR QUALITY Nov 11, 2008

This tool works as specified, it definitely saves your hands from deep tissue work. My beef however, is that the coated surface has 2 bumps at the front and back side and has cuts at the surface, one pretty deep that the metal can rust from moisture. And I think if you don't clean it well, bacteria can live there. I have spoken to John Louis the CEO about it and he claims that's the way the product is made. Huh, guess I'm out of luck. I want a tool that has no cut on the plastic coating but I guess I'll never find one.

Acuforce Massage Star Jan 02, 2008
By K. Edwards I own numerous Acuforce tools and I find the massage star well designed and a very useful massage tool.
Wonderful Product! Mar 20, 2011
By TJ The Massage Star is an amazing product that I use all the time to break up Scar tissue and bring blood to any area.
Following '09, I suffered a sprained ankle, and my sports therapist recommended the massage star. It's a great tool because:
1) The Star weights 0.75 lbs (~0.35 kgs) in total. The extra force helps you get deep into your skin and muscular tissue easily.
2) All 3 points provide benefits such as wedging, kneeding, point reflexion, and other different techniques.
3) It's small and easily carried around in your pocket and/or backpack.
I highly recommend the massage star as a world class massage therapy tool..
Easy to use and effective Jan 30, 2010

I had to get another star because my son took my first one to work on himself. This is a great tool for a professional or novice. The 'skin' surface feels so much like the skin of my hands that clients rarely know I am using a tool. It's a real thumb saver!
