Helped with tendinitis Jan 27, 2011
By K. Castro I used one of these to help prevent tendinitis flareups that I would get after lifting weights. I used one for well over two years with success, until it was stolen at the gym. (Who steals a used, sweaty wrist brace?) After losing one and having the second stolen, I decided I was tired of buying replacements, so I figured I would just use lighter weights and not replace it. Well, a month later, my wrist is in severe pain and I'm in-need of another one. My local Rite-Aid and Walgreen's were out, so I came to the place I knew I could find one - Amazon.com.

Decent support while maintaining function Oct 23, 2010
By Emi
"Pikados"
I got these this summer when I was kayaking for work. I have undiagnosed mystery wrist problems, but don't let that stop me from doing what I want to do. These allowed me to work with complete function of my hands, while also providing support. I have very small wrists, so finding something that fits is often a challenge. This brace works well without being excessively bulky (like a lot of the other one-sizes...).
They lose one star because they could really use an inner lining (like the comfort-fit sleeves that some of Ace's other braces have). This can be improvised pretty easily, though. I cut up an elastoprene brace (ankle, because that's what my local store had...) and wear that underneath the wrist brace. That will prevent the edges of the velcro on the brace from rubbing.

Good product Oct 01, 2011
By Thomas J Couture Jr I bought this about a year ago and still use it all the time. Inwork in manufacturing and this really helps my wrist.
Great brace May 12, 2012
By Steve I've used this brace for over 10 years. Replaced it once. Given it to friends (other tennis players) and family.
I started using this brace at the office for minor ligament/tendon pain in the hand from keyboard use. Later, started using it when playing tennis for needed wrist support. My general approach with braces: Start with the least restrictive so that you can maintain your full range of motion and, if the brace is not effective, move up to something more restrictive. Restricting hand or wrist movement isn't a good idea since it will weaken ligaments, tendons and muscles. This brace provides good support with full range of motion.
My son was showing signs of carpel tunnel from keyboard use. While away at college, he bought a restrictive brace designed for this problem. I bought him this brace and he hasn't worn the other brace since.
A couple of years ago, I tried to save a few bucks by buying a less expensive brace. What a mistake. Unlike cheaper braces, this brace is easy to put on, effectively double wraps the wrist and the velcro holds tight under tough conditions (tennis, manual labor, etc.) This is the one to get.
Good luck.
Works Good Feb 10, 2012
By Ted I use this item for playing raquette ball. Works as expected I expected it to and it supports the wrist. I was having tendinitise issues and the support this gives me reduces the pain.
