Makes a BIG difference Aug 20, 2009
By J. Stehno I've been running with Ace knee straps (one for each knee) for over two years. Run 12-20 miles/week training for a couple 5Ks in the spring and two 1/2 marathons every fall. Simply stated: I cannot run without them! When I try, I wind up walking. I tried Mueller straps but they are not as adjustable as the Ace which has a small side tab that can be pulled to tighten the straps once they're Velcro'd together. With Ace, post-run knee pain has been almost non-existent. In addition, Ace straps feel soft against the skin; do not pinch or pull; and are easy to put on, take off. One of the best athletic investments I've ever made!

a pleasant surprise Jul 14, 2009
By K. Wright I am surprised that more people have not written a review for this product. I am in my mid 50s -play tennis about twice a week and have tried dozens of different braces for my knees. The one complaint I have always had about braces was the bulkiness and the constant need to keep readjusting and retightening. I have seen other tennis playes wear the knee straps and I always assumed they would offer little or no support. Walgreens had the Ace strap on a buy one get one free sale for about $20 and I decided to try them. I was delighted with the pain relief they offered. Similar to the straps for tennis elbow these put pressure on the tendons below the knee and do alleviate pain. I have used constantly in the last year and a half and the velcro is just starting to lose its grip. These seem to be very similar to many other knee straps available . I have also started trying the Mueller knee strap which I got at Walmart for about $7 a piece and those also seem to work well also

These knee straps provide great knee support during active sports like basketball and tennis. They are comfort to wear, easy to adjust and never come loose. Definitely the best product in the market.

Works well Sep 26, 2011
By Jeremiah For one or two consecutive days this strap works well, but by day three on the hard courts I had to go with my two strap Cho-Pat.

Adjustable, good price Aug 24, 2011
By Lady Jane I bought this for my 13-year-old daughter, who has Osgood Schlatter's syndrome. It's not apparent from the product description, but this strap comes in 3 different tensions: mild, moderate, firm. The strap that was delivered was moderate, although there was no option to choose which tension to purchase. Too early to tell if this will improve the pain, but it fits well on her and her leg diameter is 13-14" measured below patella/knee cap. It has two ways to make fine adjustments. Stays in place. Good price especially compared to Pro-tec product.
